Saturday & Sunday March 15th & 16th, 2008 - I was once again at the David's Bridal in-store promotional event! I provided fun music for their customers & employees. Thanks to those who came out, met me and asked questions about their wedding (especially those who booked me!)

Saturday January 12th & Sunday January 13th 2008 - I was at the Eastwood Expo Center Bridal Extravaganza!

I provided all the lighting for the Dome! This included the Spa area, the Band stage as well as the Fashion Show!

Thanks to Kelly from HOT 101 for complimenting me on my work there!

Friday & Saturday November 23rd & 24th, 2007 - I was at the David's Bridal in-store promotional event! I provided music and my Small Light Show. Thanks to those who came out, met me and asked questions about their wedding (especially those who booked me!)

Animal Welfare League

HOT DJ Derrick Wray again be provided the sound and lights for the 2006 fashion show at the Avalon Inn on Sunday, April 2nd. The show had to be put together rather quickly this year, but the show went very well due to the professional's who were involved. This was in spite of the limited time and all of the things that can go wrong with a show of this magnitude. Here's the link to the Animal Welfare League in Trumbull County.

The American Heart Association

HOT DJ Derrick Wray played for the local Chapter of The AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION's "Heart Walk" at Y.S.U. again this year! It was on Saturday, Sept. 17th, 2005. We started around 9 AM with announcements and getting all of the walkers organized. The walk actually started at 10 AM and went to about noon. *Relay For Life

Friday June 17th, 2005 - The New Springfield Relay For Life! I provided and ran the sound for the The "Noltkamper Polka Band", "Classic Cruisers", and "The Causeway Band", who entertained the walkers that evening, 7:30 PM to almost Midnight, at the New Springfield H.S. Stadium. A big thanks to Rockin' Rick for coming out with me and being a huge help that night!

though I just provided the Bubbles for their send-off.

Trumbull County Fair

Yes! We were back at the Trumbull County Fair again for the Twelfth year in a row in 2006!!!!!

Be sure to come out Sunday, July 16th @ 7:00 to 10:00 PM

for dancing and fun with HOT DJ Derrick Wray.

You can listen to your favorite songs on a truly Professional Sound System!!

We also expect to use our Huge Light Show this year!!! (weather permitting. Otherwise we may just go with the Children's Light Show or Small Light Show, according to the forecast).

Swan Song 2006

It was once again a very hot and humid, but otherwise beautiful and sunny day. Due to a lack of space and help, I decided to use the CHILDREN'S LIGHT SHOW and SMALL LIGHT SHOW with lots of extra fog machines. It was even more fun for the kids who came up to play in the bubbles, fog, and lights. Of course everyone enjoyed the variety of music heard up and down the midway!

The 2005 Report

It was a terribly hot day, but started to cool off in time for the show. Set-up was partially delayed by one quick little rain shower, but everything else went just fine as plenty of singers came up to the mics. This year we showcased our brand new CHILDREN'S LIGHT SHOW. It was a lot of fun for the kids who came up to play in the bubbles and lights. The Par cans were perfect to turn on the singers so they could be in "The Spotlight"! Of course we were asked back next year for a twelfth season of fair fun and music!

Friday March 17th, 2006 - St. Patty's Day! - Another great party hosted by owner Mary Lou and yours truly. Lots of people came in for a fun and friendly alternative to the over-crowded mess associated with certain other bars on this day!!

Friday December 31st, 2005 - The New Year's Eve Party! What a blow-out with a champagne toast, party hats, food, noisemakers, and of course the best music around!

Friday December 16th, 2005 - THE Christmas Party! A full bar + a great food spread from Mary Lou + the fun Christmas music + plenty of Holiday Cheer = 1 Great Party!

Saturday October 29th, 2005 was our Halloween Party. We enjoyed a great crowd and they enjoyed the music, requests, and of course the Halloween trivia contest complete with prizes from Miller beer.

Thursday March 17th, 2005 - St. Patty's Day! - Lots of fun with the traditional food, green beer, and drink specials galore! If you're sick of the OVER-HYPED bars and having to listen to Irish music ALL DAY LONG, then come on out to Red's next year. Not only can you hear whatever you want, but you can actually get to the bar and get a drink here!
